Nathan Charles Bootz, affectionately known as “Bootzee,” went away early in the morning of July 23, 2022, leaving his family without a member. Patrick and Connie Bootz’s family is now missing a member.

A tragic car accident took the life of the well-liked individual who was on his way back to his house after completing a repair job. After the collision, the South Dakota Highway Patrol conducted an investigation into the circumstances surrounding it.

Bootz was a hard-working member of the Lemmon Volunteer Fire Department, where he served as a firefighter. His untimely passing has left his loved ones, including his family, close relatives, and other people he cared about, in a state of complete and utter sadness and grief.

Since he was four years old, he has always had a fondness for working with wheels and bikes. He was an avid motocross racer and held a number of first-place trophies from competitions in South Dakota, North Dakota, and the Tri-State MX.

Because his father’s hobby was hunting, he started learning how to train a decent hunting dog when he was 10 years old. Nathan soon became a very successful squad, and the nickname “Tiffy the Tire” that was given to his dog became the team’s unofficial mascot. Nathan was quite fond of the lake, and he and his family would try to spend as much time as they could there together.

Given that his primary interest kept him moving about, his mother reasoned that there should be a motocross track on the property. They constructed the very first track in the area by working together with the local motocross community.

Nathan Bootz was born on May 2, 1991, and he passed away in July of this year, making him 31 years old. Nathan now joined Melissa and Wayne in their grief after having already lost his older sisters.

The guy from Lemmon was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, and it was there that he received his sacraments of baptism and confirmation, as well as his wedding rites. In 2013, Bootz delightedly brought Stephanie Woodley home to meet his parents because he was confident that they would appreciate her.

After some time, on September 14, 2019, the couple tied the knot and welcomed Ryatt Charles into the world. Ryatt is Nathan’s “mini-me.” The arrival of the child on June 18, 2020, proved to be a source of joy for both he and Stephanie. His passing came as a complete surprise to his family, and they are inconsolable about it.

Nathan attended UND after graduating from Lemmon High School in 2010 with the intention of majoring in engineering. However, he rapidly came to the conclusion that he did not enjoy learning in a traditional classroom setting.

Nathan’s strong work ethic and dogged perseverance were the perfect mix to help him achieve his lifelong ambition of being a millionaire. Nathan had this objective firmly planted in his mind from an early age.

The young man was already making substantial headway by riding the Finder to each and every residence in lemon in order to save money for his very first dirt bike. He was in the process of purchasing a mower, a trimmer, and a trailer to haul all of the equipment.

Tragically, Nathan Bootz passed away as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. At the funeral, which took place at St. Mary’s Catholic in Lemmon, South Dakota, at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 28, 2022, the deceased individual was buried.
